Garcia was taken off life support on Tuesday night at a hospital in Southern California. In the months prior, he had suffered a brain aneurysm, leading to a fall that resulted in head injuries. Although he initially recovered, he experienced a stroke several weeks later.
Recently, Garcia had canceled several shows due to health concerns, a departure from his usual routine. He did not seek medical attention initially, believing he would recover without intervention. However, he was hospitalized around November 20 due to pneumonia and was discharged after treatment.
