Missing Discord Checkpoint? Discover Why Your Recap Isn’t Showing

As the year draws to a close, Discord is introducing a new feature called Discord Checkpoint. This recap highlights user activities throughout 2025, offering insights akin to popular music services like Spotify Wrapped.

Understanding Discord Checkpoint

Discord Checkpoint provides users with a personalized summary of their year on the platform. This includes:

  • Top contacts and conversations
  • Most active servers
  • Favorite games played

Launched on December 4, 2025, this is the first time Discord has offered such a comprehensive yearly recap. With over 200 million global monthly active users, the platform aims to enhance user engagement through personalized experiences.

How to Access Your Discord Checkpoint

Desktop and Browser Access

To view your Checkpoint on desktop, ensure you have the latest version of the Discord app. Look for the flag icon located in the top-right corner to access the recap.

Mobile Access Status

Currently, Checkpoint access is temporarily disabled for mobile devices, as announced on December 5. Users hoping to view their recap on mobile can check the following:

  • Visit the “You” tab at the bottom right.
  • Tap the Checkpoint banner to see your recap.

Troubleshooting Your Discord Checkpoint

If you cannot find your Checkpoint, several factors may be at play. These include:

  • Insufficient activity on the platform throughout the year.
  • Having disabled the option to personalize your Discord experience.

Clarifying Terminology: Discord Checkpoint vs. Discord Wrapped

While some users may refer to Discord Checkpoint as “Discord Wrapped,” this is not the official name. The terminology confusion likely stems from Spotify’s well-known Wrapped feature.

Availability of Your Discord Recap

Your 2025 Discord Checkpoint will be accessible until January 15, 2026. Make sure to check it before it expires.

YouTube Recap Launch

In addition to Discord’s feature, YouTube also launched its first Recap on December 2, 2025. Users can explore their viewing habits, top channels, and personal interests based on their watch history.

Both Discord and YouTube aim to enrich user experiences with their year-end recaps, offering insights to enhance engagement as the new year begins.
