Harrogate Restaurant’s Conversion to Health Centre Approved

The North Yorkshire Council has officially approved the transformation of a former Harrogate restaurant into a health centre. This change will see the Estabulo Rodizio Bar and Grill on Albert Street repurposed as a Bupa health facility.
Bupa Health Centre Details
Bupa Occupational Health Limited, headquartered in London, initiated the conversion proposal. The planned health centre aims to focus on mental health services.
Facility Specifications
- Staff Composition: The centre will employ 16 professionals. This includes clinical psychologists, cognitive behavioural therapists, and counsellors.
- Operating Hours: The facility is set to operate daily from 8 am to 10 pm.
- Appointment Capacity: It is projected to handle approximately 2,200 appointments each year.
The Estabulo Rodizio Bar and Grill, known for its South American cuisine, ceased operations last year, paving the way for this development.
The approval signifies a positive step towards enhancing mental health services in the Harrogate area. El-Balad will continue to monitor the progress of the conversion and its impact on the community.
