Teplice to Wear Special Jerseys Against Slavia in Christmas Spirit

FK Teplice is set to embrace the festive spirit this Christmas by donning special jerseys that reflect traditional holiday themes. The team’s marketing director, Martin Kovařík, emphasized that these jerseys symbolize a connection between the club and its supporters during this joyous season.
Unique Christmas Jerseys
The jerseys feature designs inspired by classic Christmas sweaters, showcasing snowflakes, reindeer motifs, and geometric patterns. Players will wear a blue variant, while goalkeepers will sport a green one. The club’s logo prominently appears on the front of each jersey.
Sustainable Materials
In addition to their festive designs, the jerseys are crafted from recycled PET bottles. This initiative is part of a broader campaign to promote recycling and responsible waste management. The jerseys highlight the importance of environmental sustainability in sports.
Fundraising Initiatives
A total of 80 jerseys will be available for purchase on the club’s website, celebrating the 80th anniversary of Teplice football. Proceeds from the sales will benefit projects managed by the FK Teplice Foundation. Additionally, a charity auction will be held to further support these initiatives.
Comparison with Bohemians
FK Teplice is not alone in celebrating significant milestones this season; the Prague-based team Bohemians is marking its 120th anniversary with special jerseys. On December 14, Bohemians will showcase their unique attire during a home match against Karviná.
Bohemians’ jerseys will feature a predominantly white design with gold accents, including an embroidered kangaroo logo, player numbers, and names. Uniquely, their jerseys will not display any advertisements. Player shorts will be green, complemented by horizontally striped green and white socks.
Conclusion
Both FK Teplice and Bohemians are not just promoting festive cheer but also contributing to environmental awareness and community support through their special jerseys. Football continues to be a platform for celebration and positive change.
