Legendary Rock Band Sets Attendance Record on First Tour in 7 Years

Legendary rock band Radiohead has achieved a remarkable milestone on their first tour in seven years by setting a new attendance record at The O2 arena in London. The band performed four consecutive sold-out shows, breaking the record previously held by Metallica since 2017.

Record-Breaking Performances

Each concert took place on November 21, 22, 24, and 25, with over 22,000 fans attending each night. The final performance on November 25 marked The O2’s highest capacity show ever, with 22,355 fans in attendance.

Christian D’Acuna, the senior programming director of The O2, remarked, “These past four record-breaking nights will go down in the venue’s history. We knew how special these exclusive shows would be, and we’re so grateful to the band for bringing them to The O2.”

Tour Details and Setlist

Radiohead’s tour commenced on November 4 at Madrid’s Movistar Arena, where they delighted fans with a 25-song setlist. Some highlights included:

  • Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
  • Idioteque
  • Fake Plastic Trees
  • Everything in Its Right Place

Upcoming Shows and Ticket Availability

The European tour will continue into December, featuring shows in Denmark and Germany. Although tickets for the original concert series are sold out, fans can still find tickets through reputable third-party sellers like StubHub, VividSeats, and SeatGeek.
