Chilliwack is buzzing with exciting events starting November 28, bringing together community spirit and festive cheer.

Spaghetti Dinner at Mount Cheam Lions
Kick off the festivities with a spaghetti dinner hosted by the Mount Cheam Lions on November 28. The event takes place at the Lions Club, located at 45580 Spadina Ave. Enjoy a meal for $10 that includes spaghetti, garlic toast, a beverage, and dessert. Dinner will be served from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Greendale Acres Christmas Events
From November 28 to December 23, Greendale Acres will host numerous Christmas-themed activities at 41905 Yale Rd. W. Visitors can explore:
- Farm light displays
- Greendale Express train rides
- Christmas films in a hay bale auditorium
- Visits with Santa and Elsa
- A cozy holiday pavilion
- Local Christmas market
Santa will be available for visits from November 28 and on December 4, 5, 11, 12, and 17, between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Live music will enhance the atmosphere on Saturdays and Sundays during the event.
Chilliwack Christmas Parade
The annual Chilliwack Christmas Parade is on November 29. Starting from Chilliwack Secondary School at 5:30 p.m., the parade will proceed west on Yale Road. Ryder Lake Christmas Craft Fair
The Ryder Lake Hall will host a Christmas Craft Fair on November 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This free admission event features local vendors and door prizes, along with homemade treats for sale.
Camp River Ladies Circle Fundraiser
On the same day, the Camp River Community Hall will host a Tea and Bake Sale from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Entry is by donation, allowing attendees to enjoy coffee or tea and socialize while purchasing homemade goodies.
Foraging Workshop at Sardis Library
Join local chef Raeanna Layfield on November 29 at the Sardis Library for a workshop on the art of foraging. The session runs from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and aims to educate attendees on identifying and preparing seasonal wild foods.
Family Fun Paint Event
Unleash your creativity with a Family Fun Paint Event led by Lyn Wilkinson at Sossy’s Saloon on November 29 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. This event includes all necessary supplies for $35 per person.
Book Signing at The Book Man
Meet co-author Brian Antonson on November 29 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at The Book Man. He will be signing copies of ‘Slumach’s Gold,’ a book exploring legends of hidden treasures in the mountains around Pitt Lake.
Yarrow Lights Event
The Yarrow Pioneer Park will host the Yarrow Lights event on November 29 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This community gathering will include a tree lighting, hay wagon rides, hot drinks, and a donation drive for local charities.

City-Wide Free Swap Event
On November 30 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., join the City-Wide Free Swap at Evergreen Hall. Bring items to swap, such as clothing and toys, and leave with new-to-you treasures.
