During the episode, Fletcher, a former *Emmerdale* star, detailed his participation in a local rugby tournament aimed at fundraising for the David Lewis Centre, an organization he represents as an ambassador. He recruited notable players, including Gareth Ellis, Mark Flanagan, and Danny McGuire, to join him in this effort.
Flanagan, who captained the team, jokingly placed Fletcher on the bench, commenting on his limited rugby experience and encouraging him to observe the game. Despite this, Fletcher eventually joined the game but faced a setback when he was tackled by an opposing player.
