Apple TV Slashes Streaming Service Price by 54% for Black Friday Sale

Apple has unveiled a significant promotional offer for its streaming service, Apple TV. This limited-time deal provides new and returning subscribers with six months of streaming for just $5.99 per month, representing a 54% discount from the standard rate.

Black Friday Sale Details

This special Black Friday offer is available from November 21 through December 1 at tv.apple.com. After the promotional period ends, the monthly subscription fee will increase to $12.99.

Eligibility and Restrictions

  • This deal is not applicable for customers already receiving three free months of Apple TV with the purchase of eligible Apple devices.
  • Subscriptions billed through third-party services are also excluded from this offer.

Recent Price Changes

This promotion follows a recent price increase in August, when Apple raised the subscription fee from $9.99 to $12.99 per month. This marks the third price hike in just three years for the service.

Apple TV boasts a diverse range of original programming, including:

  • The sci-fi series “Pluribus”
  • Award-winning shows like “Severance,” “The Studio,” “The Morning Show,” and “Slow Horses”

Additionally, the streaming service enhances its movie offerings with titles such as “The Family Plan 2,” released on November 21, and “F1 The Movie,” starring Brad Pitt, which will be available on December 12.

Family and Sports Programming

The service also caters to younger audiences with a variety of kids’ programming, including both new and classic Peanuts specials. Apple TV further enhances its sports offerings with live access to MLB’s “Friday Night Baseball” and Major League Soccer matches. Notably, starting in 2026, Apple TV will exclusively broadcast Formula 1 races in the U.S., as part of a five-year deal valued at approximately $750 million.
