Sudden Heatwave Warning Issued for Egypt Tomorrow by Meteorologists

Egypt is bracing for a sudden heatwave, as the national meteorological authority warns of a significant rise in temperatures across the country tomorrow. This unexpected weather shift is set to impact several regions, with heat levels surpassing seasonal norms.

Forecast Overview

According to meteorologists, Egypt will experience unusual warmth starting tomorrow. A hot, dry air mass is moving in from the Western Desert, affecting various areas of the country.

Temperature Projections

  • The temperature in Greater Cairo may exceed 31 degrees Celsius during the day.
  • Southern regions may see temperatures reach 34 degrees Celsius.
  • These temperatures are approximately 4 to 6 degrees above the average for this time of year.

This increase in temperature is likely to intensify the sensation of heat throughout the daytime, while nights will remain cooler, resulting in a notable temperature variation between day and night.

Health Precautions

The meteorological authority advises the public to dress appropriately to avoid colds that can arise from the significant temperature fluctuations. Heavy winter clothing should be avoided during daytime hours.

Weather Conditions

In addition to the heat, dense fog is expected on Wednesday, particularly in the northern parts of the country, including Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt. This fog may reduce visibility on highways and routes near water bodies.

Wind and Sea Conditions

  • Winds will pick up in some open regions, providing some relief from the heat.
  • The Mediterranean and Red Seas will have moderate to slightly rough conditions, with wave heights between 1.5 and 2 meters.

Looking Ahead

The current heatwave is expected to be temporary. Forecast models suggest a gradual decrease in temperatures will commence early next week. This will also coincide with increased chances of fog and a return to cooler nighttime conditions.

Long-term predictions indicate that temperatures will stabilize around normal levels, with light rain expected in the northern regions at times.
