The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police reported that the collision took place shortly after 5:20 a.m. in the 7500 block of Dean Martin Drive, situated south of Warm Springs Road. Upon arrival, officers found the vehicle had struck a street sign.
Medical personnel were already on the scene, attending to the woman who suffered from a gunshot wound. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead at the site of the incident.
