Wet Leg Completes Third Album

Wet Leg has officially completed their third studio album, as confirmed by frontwoman Rhian Teasdale. In a recent interview on Radio X with John Kennedy, Teasdale shared this exciting news, along with guitarist Josh Mobaraki, while reflecting on their successful year and their second album, titled ‘Moisturizer.’

During the interview, Teasdale stated, “It’s done,” when asked about the progress of their third album. This announcement surprised Kennedy, who expressed amazement at their ability to find the time to complete it. Teasdale remarked humorously, “I know,” with Mobaraki adding, “Not on Earth.”
Upcoming Performances
As Wet Leg looks forward to their big outdoor concerts in the UK next summer, they plan shows in three major cities: Manchester, Leeds, and London. Teasdale noted the importance of adapting their performance for larger venues, aiming to engage audiences of around 13,000 attendees.

Recent Achievements
Wet Leg’s second album, ‘Moisturizer,’ released in July, has garnered notable recognition, including two Grammy nominations for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Album Cover. Furthermore, their single ‘Mangetout’ earned a nomination in the Best Alternative Music Performance category. The album achieved the impressive feat of reaching Number One in the UK albums chart.
In a four-star review, NME praised the band’s evolution, stating they have transformed into a “smarter, sexier, and altogether stronger creature” with their latest release.
Touring and Festival Appearances
Wet Leg is scheduled to headline a UK and Ireland tour, which includes a highly anticipated performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London. They will also participate in several major music festivals next year, such as:
