Injury Report: Eagles vs. Packers

The Eagles are gearing up for their Monday night showdown against the Packers, and recent updates from their injury report offer insights into player availability and practice statuses.

Player Updates Ahead of Eagles vs. Packers

Wide receiver A.J. Brown has confirmed his participation in the upcoming game against Green Bay. He expressed confidence following his recovery from a hamstring issue.

Defensive player Nolan Smith also stated he will play, marking his return to action after a triceps injury. Smith has been enthusiastic about the team’s defensive edge, asserting, “We’re a bunch of hungry guys ready to go work and go eat.” He has recorded 10 tackles and forced one fumble this season.

Defensive Line Strengthening

  • Jaelan Phillips may make his debut.
  • Brandon Graham is set to return alongside Smith.
  • Jalyx Hunt and Joshua Uche will contribute significantly to the edge group.

Last season, in a pivotal Wild Card game against Green Bay, Smith made history by sacking quarterback Jordan Love twice. He became the youngest Eagle to record multiple sacks in a postseason game at just 23 years old. By the end of that playoff run, he had set a franchise record with four sacks.

Injury Concerns for Key Players

While Smith has participated fully in practice this week, the Eagles face challenges with a few key injuries. Center Cam Jurgens was absent from practice on Friday due to a knee injury, which he sustained in Week 8. Brett Toth filled in during the Eagles’ last game against the Giants in Jurgens’ absence.

Cornerback Adoree’ Jackson did not practice on Friday because of personal reasons and remains in concussion protocol. He was limited in practice on Thursday. Defensive tackle Moro Ojomo has also been dealing with a concussion but returned to full participation on Friday.
