Regina Seeks Proposals for GM Plant Building Development

The City of Regina is inviting proposals for the redevelopment of the General Motors Plant. This site, located at 1250 Winnipeg Street, has been vacant since a significant fire in 2017 rendered it unfit for occupancy.
Opportunity for Development
Chad Jedlic, Regina’s director of land, real estate, and economic development, expressed enthusiasm about this initiative. He stated, “The City is excited to make this opportunity available to private developers. We are eager to see this site return to active use in the community.”
