Irma Speck’s Innovative Leadership Transforms Industry Landscape

Irma Marie Speck, a beloved matriarch, passed away on October 25, 2025, at the age of 101. Her family mourns her loss but celebrates the rich legacy she left behind.
Family Tribute
Irma was a dedicated mother to Jacqueline, and she was preceded in death by her sons, Gary and Ray. She was also a cherished grandmother to four, including Kelly, Dawn, Jesse, and Hope. In addition, she was a proud great-grandmother of four—Miranda, Maria, Sophia, and Benjamin—and had the joy of being a great-great-grandmother to Lilliana, Alliyah, Oakland, and Meadow.
Her Legacy
- Irm’a siblings include Jack, Jim, Everet, and Ray.
- She was predeceased by her parents, William and Blanche (Victoria) Jewhurst.
Irma’s passion for life was evident in her love for dancing and singing, particularly at the Canadian Legion in Windsor. Many who knew her will remember her warmth and vibrant spirit.
Cremation and Interment
Cremation has been completed, and her interment will occur at Ottawa Park Cemetery in Waterford, Michigan. The Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, located at 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., is overseeing the arrangements.
