Washtenaw County Opens Polls for November 4 Elections
Polls are officially open in Washtenaw County for the November 4 elections. Voting commenced at 7 a.m. and will continue until 8 p.m. Those already in line by 8 p.m. will still be allowed to cast their votes.
Registration and Voting Procedure
Individuals who have not yet registered to vote can do so in person at their local city or township clerk’s office until 8 p.m. on Election Day. Voters with absentee ballots may return these either directly to their clerk’s office or to secure drop boxes. All absentee ballots need to be received by the respective clerk by the 8 p.m. deadline on Election Day.

Ballot Proposals and Contested Races
This election, voters in Washtenaw County will make significant decisions, including whether to approve a new tax dedicated to career and technical education within the Washtenaw Intermediate School District.
