‘Only Murders in the Building’ Eyes London Setting for Season 6

The popular Hulu series, “Only Murders in the Building,” is planning a significant international expansion for its upcoming sixth season. After taking its characters to various locations across North America in Season 4, the show is set to embrace a European setting, with London as the anticipated backdrop for Season 6.

Season 6: A London Setting

Currently, Season 5 is reaching its conclusion on October 28. Although the series has not yet been officially renewed for a sixth season, its popularity suggests a new season is highly likely. This upcoming season will mark the first time the series shifts its main location away from the United States.

Insiders hint that the move to London may feature prominently in the Season 5 finale. The show’s main characters—Charles, Oliver, and Mabel—will feel at home in a historic European setting, reminiscent of their residence in the Arconia, which showcases Italian Renaissance Revival architecture.

Upcoming Season Plotline

While it remains uncertain whether the murder mystery in Season 6 will unfold in London, the current storyline focuses on the murder of the Arconia’s doorman, Lester. This season has explored intriguing storylines involving an illegal casino and connections to organized crime, featuring characters played by notable actors such as Bobby Cannavale and Téa Leoni.

  • New cast members for Season 5 include:
    • Keegan Michael Key
    • Jermaine Fowler
    • Beanie Feldstein
    • Dianne Wiest

In addition to the main trio—Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez—returning cast members include Michael Cyril Creighton as Howard, Jackie Hoffman as Uma, and Meryl Streep portraying Loretta, among others.
