Seventeen Electrifies Los Angeles with Shows at BMO Stadium

Seventeen, the renowned K-pop group, recently electrified Los Angeles with two spectacular shows at BMO Stadium on October 16 and 17, 2023. The group celebrated their 10th anniversary and showcased their latest album, “Happy Burstday,” as part of their New_ World Tour.

Seventeen’s Lineup and Military Service

Currently, Seventeen consists of 13 members. However, only nine performed at the L.A. shows due to the mandatory military enlistment of four members: Jeonghan, Wonwoo, Hoshi, and Woozi. The group’s fanbase, known as Carats, has been supportive as members navigate their service requirements.

Tour Highlights

This leg of the tour features five stops in the United States, following performances in Korea and Hong Kong. After Los Angeles, Seventeen will head to Japan. Fans were treated to a dynamic and energetic performance, highlighting both recent singles and classic hits.

During the concert, Seventeen incorporated solo stages to highlight individual members’ talents. Group leader S.Coups discussed the importance of personal expression in their performances, while Hoshi emphasized their desire to grow both individually and collectively.

As the group prepares for future military service commitments, they reassured fans about their continued unity. Woozi remarked on viewing this phase as preparation for an even greater next album. Fans were immersed in the experience, often invited to sing along during iconic tracks.
