Spanish OPIs contributed nearly 3,000 patent applications, positioning Spain as the fifth most active country in Europe for such registrations. This activity aligns Spain with other leading nations like France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
Leading Institutions
- Over the last two decades, ten European institutions, primarily from France and Germany, accounted for 63% of all European patent applications from OPIs.
