UFC Vancouver Weigh-In: Reinier de Ridder, Brendan Allen Ready for Middleweight Clash

The preparations for UFC Vancouver are finalized after the official weigh-ins. This event features a highly anticipated middleweight clash between Reinier de Ridder and Brendan Allen, both weighing in at 186 pounds.

Middleweight Showdown: De Ridder vs. Allen

Reinier de Ridder is on a notable four-fight winning streak, positioning him close to a title shot. He was initially set to fight Anthony Hernandez in a title eliminator. However, Hernandez’s withdrawal led to Brendan Allen stepping in as his opponent.

Brendan Allen previously faced Hernandez earlier this year but suffered defeat. He bounced back in July, securing a decision win over Marvin Vettori. This upcoming fight against De Ridder presents both fighters with an opportunity to solidify their standings in the middleweight division.

The co-main event will feature Kevin Holland taking on Mike Malott. Holland weighed 170.5 pounds, while Malott made use of the one-pound allowance, coming in at 171 pounds. All other fighters set to compete in the event also successfully made weight.

UFC Vancouver is scheduled to take place at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, and will be broadcast live on ESPN+. The main card begins at 7 p.m. ET, with preliminaries starting at 4 p.m. ET.
