This Kent County resident usually plays Fantasy 5 but chose to purchase additional tickets this time due to the higher jackpot. “I typically buy one ticket, but the prize was so enticing that I decided to buy a few extra,” he remarked.
He purchased his winning ticket at the Alpine E-Z Mart, situated at 3623 Alpine Avenue Northwest in Comstock Park. After the drawing, he checked the winning numbers online as usual. “The next day, I learned that the jackpot had been hit at the same store where I bought my ticket. I returned to my car to check my tickets and was astonished to find I was the winner,” he said.
Plans for the Winnings
The fortunate winner plans to use his newfound wealth to bolster his retirement savings. “I’m not planning to retire just yet, but this prize will provide a nice cushion when I do in a few years,” he added.
