As the anticipation builds for the final season of “Stranger Things,” fans will soon learn more about what to expect. Co-creator Ross Duffer has provided insights into the episode runtimes for the first volume of Season 5. This will be released on November 26, 2023.

In a recent social media update, Duffer confirmed the runtimes for the four episodes debuting in Season 5: Volume 1. The durations are as follows:
- Chapter One: The Crawl – 1 hour 8 minutes
- Chapter Two: The Vanishing of… – 54 minutes
- Chapter Three: The Turnbow Trap – 1 hour 6 minutes
- Chapter Four: Sorcerer – 1 hour 23 minutes
Details about the subsequent episodes, which will be available later, are still under wraps.
Volume II Release Information
Volume II of “Stranger Things” Season 5 is scheduled to premiere on December 25, 2023. This volume will feature three episodes, with the highly anticipated final episode set to stream on December 31, 2023.
Production Highlights
Duffer also shared insights into the production status of the first episodes. He noted that Chapters One and Two have been completed, saying they are “locked, mixed, scored, colored, DONE.”
Particularly, Duffer expressed excitement for Chapter One, describing it as “the most eventful episode since Season 1.” Chapter Two promises an intense start with what Duffer calls “the craziest cold open” in the series’ history. He highlighted that one sequence from this season is something the creators are especially proud of.
