Details of Pierce’s Arrest
The California Highway Patrol responded to a multi-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 101 around 10:40 p.m. Upon reopening four of the six lanes, officers discovered Pierce’s vehicle south of the crash site. Signs of alcohol impairment led officers to conduct a DUI investigation.
Pierce was ultimately arrested on a misdemeanor charge. This case will be reviewed by the Los Angeles city attorney.
