Marlon Humphrey and Patrick Ricard Back on Practice Field

The Baltimore Ravens made significant strides in their preparations for the upcoming game against the Los Angeles Rams. Two Pro Bowl players, Marlon Humphrey and Patrick Ricard, returned to practice. This marked a notable improvement in the team’s overall health.

Marlon Humphrey and Patrick Ricard’s Return

Cornerback Marlon Humphrey, who had been sidelined with a calf injury, practiced for the first time this week. Fullback Patrick Ricard, also recovering from a calf injury, returned after missing time since August 14.

Ongoing Injuries

Several key players, including quarterback Lamar Jackson and linebacker Roquan Smith, remain out with hamstring injuries. Additionally, cornerback Chidobe Awuzie continues to be sidelined due to a hamstring issue. There was also a new absence, as offensive lineman Ben Cleveland did not participate due to personal reasons.

Player Updates

  • Kyle Hamilton (safety) – Participated fully after being limited the previous day.
  • Ronnie Stanley (offensive tackle) – Logged a full practice, recovering from an ankle injury.
  • Joe Noteboom (offensive tackle) – Also practiced fully after ankle issues.
  • Roger Rosengarten (offensive tackle) – Returned to full practice following a knee concern.

Upcoming Challenges

The Ravens will need Humphrey to bolster their secondary as they prepare to face the Rams this Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium. The Rams, led by quarterback Matthew Stafford, currently boast the highest passing yards in the NFL, with a total of 1,503 yards over five weeks.

Key Rams Players

  • Puka Nacua – Leads the league with 52 receptions and 588 receiving yards.
  • Davante Adams – A six-time Pro Bowler, he has 22 catches, 357 yards, and three touchdowns this season.

Humphrey’s return could impact the Ravens significantly, especially given their defense’s performance during last week’s 44-10 loss to the Houston Texans, where quarterback C.J. Stroud threw four touchdown passes.
