Incident Details
The unfortunate event occurred at her home in the Sai Santoshi Building, located in Aachole Village, Nalasopara East. According to Assistant Police Inspector Vinod Bagh from the Achole Police Station, Sanchita locked herself inside her bedroom before allegedly taking her own life by hanging herself from a ceiling fan with a saree between 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM.

Family members and residents rushed her to Vasai-Virar Municipal Hospital, but she was declared dead upon arrival. Police quickly arrived at the scene to conduct necessary investigations. An inquest report was prepared before sending the body for a post-mortem examination.

On June 15, based on a complaint from her father, Machhindra Ugale, the Achole Police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
