Emil Pieniniemi, 21, has had an impactful season playing in various leagues. He participated in nine games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the American Hockey League (AHL) during the 2025-26 season. In these games, he registered three points, consisting of one goal and two assists.
His playoff performance was notable as well. Pieniniemi contributed with an assist in two postseason matches. In addition, he played for the Wheeling Nailers in the ECHL, where he scored 11 points across 26 games, leading all Wheeling defensemen in scoring.
