Lucy Dacus and Hozier’s ‘Bullseye’ Live Version Featured on New Album

Lucy Dacus is preparing to release a new companion album titled Forever Is A Feeling: The Archives on October 10. This album complements her previous work, Forever Is A Feeling, released in 2025. The Archives edition will include demos, unreleased tracks, and a live version of her duet ‘Bullseye’ featuring Hozier.
Album Details and Features
Dacus shared insights on her Instagram, describing the project as a way of “clearing the decks” for upcoming ventures. She likened the compilation to a scrapbook, capturing everything left from the previous album.
Live Duet with Hozier
The highlight of the album is the live recording of ‘Bullseye’ with Hozier. Dacus expressed her excitement about the performance, stating that Hozier “clears her vocally” in the duet. The duo originally performed this track live in March at the National Gallery of Ireland during the Irish TV series Other Voices.
Additional Content in The Archives
Aside from ‘Bullseye,’ the album features:
- Previously unreleased tracks like ‘Losing’
- Reimagined versions of fan favorites, including ‘Best Guess (wedding version)’
- A cover of Jim Croce’s ‘Time In A Bottle’
Preview and Release Information
Dacus will promote The Archives with an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on October 9, just a day before the album’s official release. Physical copies of the album can be pre-ordered through various platforms.
