Charlie Dalin, a celebrated sailing champion and winner of the Vendée Globe 2024/2025, has passed away at the age of 42. His family announced the news following his battle with cancer, specifically a gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST). Dalin died in Quimper during the night from Wednesday to Thursday, as confirmed by his wife, Perrine Le Pape.
