Thunderstorm Warning Issued
According to Environment Canada, conditions are ripe for thunderstorms that may produce damaging winds and hail ranging from 1 to 2 centimeters in diameter. The areas under the alert include:
- Montréal

- Montérégie
- Laurentides

- Centre-du-Québec
- Estrie
- Mauricie

As of 6:10 PM, approximately 25,000 addresses were without power due to the storms, according to Hydro-Québec’s outage information. The majority of these outages affected the following areas:

- Montréal: 6,000 addresses
- Laval: 3,750 addresses
- Lanaudière: 3,400 addresses
- Outaouais: 2,300 addresses
