Official Statement
Later, a spokesperson for Stewart clarified the situation. In a statement to the Las Vegas Review Journal, they said, “Following his doctor’s advice, Rod Stewart has regretfully canceled his performances at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on May 29 and 30.”
Rod Stewart expressed his apologies, stating, “I am on vocal rest as I recover from a sinus infection. I look forward to seeing you at a future show at Caesars Palace or on tour this summer.”

Stewart is set to resume his performances on June 2, as part of his ongoing residency. His current series of Encore Shows run until June 6, with an additional set scheduled for August.
