He was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in 2019 but was traded to the Blue Jays in 2022 as part of the deal involving Teoscar Hernández. Additionally, Macko represented Canada in the World Baseball Classic earlier this year, featuring in three games and maintaining an impressive strikeout record with no runs allowed over 2.1 innings.
McAdoo’s MLB Debut Against the Orioles
Joining Macko is Charles McAdoo, who is making his MLB debut at second base. McAdoo, 24, has been a strong performer with the Buffalo Bisons this season, achieving a batting average of .250, alongside 27 RBIs and eight home runs across 207 plate appearances.
He was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 13th round of the 2023 draft but was traded to Toronto in 2024 in exchange for Isiah Kiner-Falefa and cash considerations.
