Hydro One Networks Inc. is taking significant steps to enhance energy infrastructure in Ontario. The company has filed a leave-to-construct application with the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) for the Orléans Area Reinforcement Project. Details of the Orléans Area Reinforcement Project
The proposed project involves the construction of an 11-kilometre, 115-kilovolt (kV) transmission line. This line will connect the Hawthorne Transformer Station and the Orléans Transformer Station. Additionally, an existing 115-kV transmission line will be upgraded to 230 kV. The total investment for this development is estimated at approximately $100 million.
