AC Cobra Coupe Nears Production Reality

AC Cars has made significant strides towards the production of the long-anticipated AC Cobra Coupe. Initially proposed in the summer of 2024, this hardtop version of the classic roadster is built on the same lightweight aluminium chassis. Influenced by the design of the iconic AC A98, which competed at Le Mans, the prototype showcases a striking aesthetic appeal.
Delays and Production Plans
While the original goal was to start deliveries in 2025, timelines have shifted. As of 2026, AC Cars is revisiting the development with renewed enthusiasm. The delay is partly attributed to the popularity of the roadster and challenges in sourcing materials for production. However, the hope is that the upcoming Cobra Coupe will usher in a new era for the brand.
