The Mountain West men’s basketball schedule for San Diego State has undergone updates, including details on television broadcasts and game date adjustments. The recent announcement revealed that all 20 of SDSU’s conference games will be broadcast on a linear TV platform.
Television Broadcasts and Game Updates
Noteworthy is that three of these games will air on CBS. These are:
- January 24 at UNLV
- January 31 at Utah State
- February 28 at New Mexico
All CBS broadcasts will occur in the time frame of 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. PST. This scheduling indicates a shift in how the Mountain West intends to present its games to a larger audience.
Additionally, there were five adjustments made to the original game schedule. Four games were shifted from Tuesday to Wednesday. The updated matches include:
- January 14 at Wyoming
- January 21 at Grand Canyon
- January 28 vs. Colorado State
- February 25 vs. Utah State
One game, originally on Saturday, was moved to Friday, March 6 against UNLV.
Home Game Scheduling
Of note, 14 out of 20 of SDSU’s conference games will take place on Wednesdays or Saturdays. Only one home game is set for Tuesday night, on February 3 against Wyoming. This date coincides with a heavier class schedule at SDSU, which usually results in increased traffic in the area.
Upcoming Nonconference Matchup
On December 20, 2025, San Diego State will face Arizona in Phoenix. This game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PST and will be available on ESPN2. The Arizona Wildcats hold a historical advantage over SDSU with a series record of 25-7. They have also won all four encounters on neutral ground.
