Lyon Finalizes Transfer to Pittodrie

Brad Lyons has officially finalized his transfer to Pittodrie, joining the Dons on a two-year contract ahead of the 2026/27 season. The 29-year-old midfielder from Northern Ireland will transition to the club once his contract with Kilmarnock concludes this summer.

A Solid Career Background
Before his move to Pittodrie, Lyons began his career in the Irish Premiership with Coleraine. He later joined Blackburn Rovers on loan, which became permanent in January 2019. After a stint with St Mirren and Morecambe, he signed with Kilmarnock in summer 2021.
Lyons was appointed Kilmarnock captain last season and made close to 180 appearances in the Scottish Premiership. He earned his first call-up to the Northern Ireland national team in August 2023 and made his senior international debut on October 17, 2023, against Slovenia during the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying matches.
