After taking a knife from the basement, he violently attacked the male victim, inflicting a serious stab wound to his neck, nearly missing a critical artery. The victim’s 74-year-old wife was also assaulted during this incident, as George struck her from behind.
The assault was cut short when the couple’s son arrived home, prompting George to flee the scene. He was apprehended by police shortly after the attack, just a short distance away.
