Teen Clash Near Dix30: 13 Arrested in Violent Altercation

Authorities in Longueuil have arrested 13 teenagers in connection with a violent altercation that took place near Dix30 on April 18. The Longueuil Agglomeration Police Service (SPAL) confirmed that among those apprehended, four are 15 years old and nine are 16 years old. This incident involved a large group of youth engaged in a fierce brawl, captured on video.
Details of the Incident
The SPAL released footage of the confrontation, which showed a significant number of young individuals participating in the violence. Inspector Gino Iannone stated that three charges would be laid against the minors: armed assault, assault causing bodily harm, and complicity. Notably, those who filmed the incident may also face complicity charges.
Call for Witnesses
Inspector Iannone emphasized that bystanders who recorded the fight without intervening could be charged with complicity. He urged anyone who witnessed the incident or has information on the identifiable suspects seen in the footage to come forward.
