Esther was last seen at approximately 11:30 p.m. on May 15 in Earl Bales Park, located near Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West. She was last observed heading north-east from this area. Just after midnight on May 16, she was spotted near Bathurst Street and Hotspur Road, south of Highway 401. This sighting occurred roughly thirty minutes after her disappearance from Earl Bales Park.
