Essential Weekend Update: Doors Open

This weekend, Toronto invites residents and visitors to explore its rich architectural heritage through the annual Doors Open event. From May 20 to May 22, over 160 unique sites will welcome guests for free, showcasing the city’s historical and modern buildings.
Details of the Doors Open Event
The event runs daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participants can join guided tours and discussions. Although some tours are already booked, several spots remain. Notable available tours include:

Transport Information
Travelers should be aware of some transit disruptions during the weekend. Line 2 subway will be closed between Kennedy and Woodbine stations, with shuttle buses replacing the service from May 20 to May 21. Regular service will resume on May 22.
GO Transit Adjustments
On the same weekend, GO Transit will experience various changes:
- Lakeshore West: Service will run between Niagara Falls and Aldershot GO with limited stops.
- Barrie Line: Buses will replace trains at all stations except Downsview Park GO and Union Station.
Please consider using TTC services if traveling to or from certain stations.
