The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) is set to host “Memories Week” at Edinburgh Zoo, inviting the public to explore historical archives. This unique event will take place from June 13 to June 21, 2026, at the Lemur Lodge within the zoo.

In collaboration with The University of Edinburgh’s Heritage Collections, RZSS will unveil a newly digitized archive that showcases over a century of Edinburgh Zoo’s legacy. This exhibition offers rare insights into the history of one of the world’s most cherished attractions.
