98.5 The Sports Hub Hosts 15th “Who’s Your Caddy” Golf for Special Olympics

98.5 The Sports Hub is set to host its 15th Annual “Who’s Your Caddy” Golf Classic on June 8, 2026. The event will take place at Brookmeadow Country Club in Boston, Massachusetts, and is organized in collaboration with the Boston Bruins Foundation. Proceeds from this tournament will benefit Special Olympics Massachusetts, an initiative that has become a cherished tradition for sports fans and community supporters across New England.

15 Years of Impact

Since its inception in 2011, the “Who’s Your Caddy” Golf Classic has generated over $300,000 for various charities. Beneficiaries have included the Boston Children’s Hospital Pediatric Care Unit and the 7uice Foundation, founded by NBA star Jaylen Brown. This year, the focus shifts to supporting the Special Olympics Massachusetts, reinforcing the event’s commitment to charitable initiatives.

New Features for 2026

The 2026 edition introduces a fan-centric opportunity called “We Need A 4th.” Listeners will have the chance to bid online for a spot in one of two celebrity foursomes: one with Fred Toucher, Rob ‘Hardy’ Poole, and Jon Wallach, and the other with Tony Massarotti, Mike Felger, and Jim Murray. The highest bidder for each group will secure a place as the fourth golfer.

Community Support and Expectations

Approximately 134 golfers are anticipated to take part in the tournament. The entry fee is set at $985 per foursome. Participants can also bid on numerous prizes and auction items, such as:

  • Four tickets to a Bruins game with a “Bench Assistant” experience for two children (ages 6-12) during warmups
  • Two airline tickets to any U.S. destination via JetBlue
  • A signed jersey from quarterback Drake Maye
  • A team-signed Boston Bruins jersey
  • Tickets to upcoming New England Patriots and Boston Celtics games
  • Various additional prizes and experiences

Tony Massarotti, a key figure in organizing the event, expressed pride in the tournament’s growth. “To see the incredible support from listeners, sponsors, and local organizations has been truly rewarding,” he stated. Rick Radzik, the station’s Program Director, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the meaningful tradition this tournament represents for the station and its community partners.
