The news of his death was shared by the Nézőművészeti Kft. on their Facebook page, stating, “Our friend Péter Scherer has peacefully passed away this morning.”

To honor Scherer, a vigil will be held at the B32 Gallery and Cultural Space on Bartók Béla út 32, starting at 9 PM. This gathering aims to celebrate the legacy of a beloved actor whose presence will be sorely missed.
