On Facebook, Freida explained that Dolly has been “dealing with some health challenges” and that her doctors recommended a few medical procedures.
In her heartfelt message, Freida expressed her belief in the power of prayer, stating, “I truly believe in the power of prayer, and I have been led to ask all of the world that loves her to be prayer warriors and pray with me.”
Clarification and Reassurance
Freida later clarified her earlier message, emphasizing that she did not intend to alarm fans. “I want to clear something up. I didn’t mean to scare anyone or make it sound so serious… It was nothing more than a little sister asking for prayers for her big sister,” she explained.
Concert Reschedule and Awards Appearance
As a result of her health situation, Dolly’s concert series, “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas,” which was scheduled for December 4-13, has been rescheduled to September 17-26, 2026. Additionally, Dolly will be absent from the upcoming Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 16th Governors Awards on November 16, where she was set to receive the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.
Dolly has reassured her fans about her commitment to her career, stating, “Don’t worry about me quittin’ the business because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet. But, I believe He is telling me to slow down right now.”
