Roblox Unveils Parent-Caregiver Council to Enhance Family Engagement

Roblox has announced the formation of its inaugural Parent-Caregiver Council, a significant initiative aimed at enhancing family engagement and promoting digital well-being. This council will consist of up to 40 parents and caregivers from various regions, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, and all European countries, with plans to expand to other areas in the future.
Objectives of the Parent-Caregiver Council
The main goal of the Parent-Caregiver Council is to serve as advocates for digital safety and civility. Members will provide valuable insights into how Roblox can become a safer online environment for users of all ages. This initiative builds on previous actions by Roblox, including the establishment of a Head of Parental Advocacy position and the introduction of updated parental controls earlier this year.
Council Member Responsibilities
Participants in the Parent-Caregiver Council will work closely with Roblox’s internal teams. They will provide feedback on various platform features, policies, and resources. This collaborative effort is modeled after the successful Teen Council, which has helped Roblox gain important insights from its younger audience.
Meeting Schedule and Application Details
The Parent-Caregiver Council will convene quarterly, allowing members to voice their concerns, share positive feedback, and offer suggestions for platform improvements. Parents and caregivers interested in joining must have prior familiarity with Roblox, be proficient in English, and live in one of the designated regions.
The application period is currently open and will close on October 26, 2025, at midnight PT. The selected members will participate from January to December 2026.
Quotes from Leadership
Dr. Elizabeth Milovidov, the Head of Parental Advocacy, expressed her enthusiasm for leading the initiative. “As an expert in digital parenting, I am thrilled to be leading the first-ever parent and caregiver program. We aim to receive real-time feedback from parents to enhance the Roblox platform and empower them to guide their children safely online,” she stated.
How to Apply
Interested parents and caregivers can submit their applications through the Roblox website. By joining the council, members will contribute to creating a supportive and safer environment for their families.
