Celtic Park: Ticketing Updates and Logistics Details

This weekend, Derry City FC will host Shamrock Rovers at Celtic Park, marking the team’s first match in their temporary venue. As this event approaches, several important ticketing updates and logistical details have been outlined for attendees.
Parking and Access Information
Parking options are limited at Celtic Park. There is no parking available on site, and patrons are urged to respect local residents and adhere to all parking regulations in the Brandywell area. To prevent obstructions, drivers should avoid parking on pathways and near private properties.
- 150 parking spaces are available at St. Cecilia’s on match days.
- Fans should look for alternative routes to Celtic Park, especially if the Craigavon Bridge is congested.
- A limited number of disabled parking spaces will be allocated to badge holders on a first-come, first-served basis.
Ticketing for Season Ticket Holders
Season ticket holders will be seated in the Tommy Mellon Stand on a first-come, first-served basis. It is essential for supporters to cooperate with fellow fans and follow steward instructions. The central seating area (Block E) will be reserved for club directors, sponsors, and special guests.
- Season ticket holders can opt to utilize the terrace if preferred.
- Access to the Tommy Mellon Stand should be through the Lone Moor Road turnstiles.
Match Ticket Holder Information
For those holding match tickets, entry to the ground will be organized by area:
- Brandywell Terrace / College Field Terrace: enter via Lone Moor Road turnstiles.
- BlueBell Terrace: access through Stanleys Walk turnstiles.
Tickets can be purchased online for £10 for adults and £5 for those under 16 or over 65. A family ticket option is also available, allowing two adults and two children into the terrace for £25, thanks to increased venue capacity.
Fan Zone and Merchandise
A Fan Zone dedicated to home supporters will feature a beer container, while club merchandise will be available for purchase. However, please note that alcohol consumption is prohibited inside Celtic Park and in the surrounding areas. This regulation will be strictly enforced.
Match Day Regulations
All attendees must refrain from bringing flares, smoke bombs, or pyrotechnics, as these items are strictly banned. Failure to comply may result in a ban from future Derry City FC games.
For safety reasons, spectators may be required to remain in their seats for a brief period after the match concludes. All supporters are expected to follow the instructions of Derry City FC stewards and security personnel to ensure a secure environment.
