Summerville Man Arrested After Lengthy Standoff with Deputies

Andre Marcel Dumortier, a 38-year-old resident of Summerville, faces serious charges. He has been charged with:

The disturbance was reported around 4:20 p.m. in the 100 block of Twin Peaks Drive. When deputies arrived, they discovered that Dumortier had barricaded himself inside his residence. Thankfully, the victim was able to exit the home safely.
