Berklee to Honor Jill Scott, Jacob Collier, Vinnie Colaiuta at 2026 Ceremony

Berklee College of Music is set to honor three notable Grammy-winning artists during its 2026 commencement ceremony. The event will take place at Boston University’s Agganis Arena on May 9, starting at 10 a.m.

Jill Scott
Jill Scott is a three-time Grammy Award winner known for her work as an author, philanthropist, and podcast host. In February, she released her 11th studio album, “To Whom This May Concern,” marking her first album in over ten years.
Jacob Collier
Jacob Collier boasts an impressive seven Grammy Awards and is recognized as the first British artist to win a Grammy for each of his first five studio albums. His innovative musical style has led to collaborations with popular artists like Coldplay, SZA, and Shawn Mendes. Following the Berklee ceremony, Collier will perform at Boston Symphony Hall on May 27-28.
Vinnie Colaiuta
Vinnie Colaiuta is a distinguished drummer and a graduate of Berklee College. He has received 18 “Drummer of the Year” awards from Modern Drummer magazine, which labeled him “the most important drummer of our time.” Colaiuta has collaborated with multiple iconic artists, including Joni Mitchell, Frank Zappa, and Chaka Khan.
