SLS Hardware Deployment Begins for Artemis III Mission

NASA has announced the upcoming rollout of the Space Launch System (SLS) core stage for the Artemis III mission. Digital creators and social media enthusiasts can register for a special NASA Social event associated with this historic occasion. The rollout event will take place at NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility as preparations begin for the SLS core stage to journey to Kennedy Space Center. Scheduled for a date in mid to late April, the event will coincide with the anticipated launch of Artemis II. A maximum of 20 participants will be selected to attend.

Who Can Attend?
The event is designed for individuals who actively create and share content on social media platforms. Eligible applicants must:
- Have multiple social media accounts.
- Regularly produce multimedia content.
- Demonstrate significant engagement and audience reach.
- Be U.S. citizens aged 18 or older.
Registration Requirements
To register, applicants must complete the process on the designated page. All applications will go through a review process. An email will notify accepted participants after the registration period closes on April 10.
Participants should be prepared to handle their own travel, accommodation, and meal expenses. Those selected may also need additional clearances for access to certain secure areas within the facility.
Safety and Identification
All attendees must present REAL ID compliant identification or a valid U.S. passport along with one additional form of identification. Acceptable IDs include:
- Unexpired Employment Authorization Cards
- State-issued driver’s licenses containing a photograph
- U.S. Military IDs
