Background on Burbank Theater
This event marked the fourth reported trespassing call at the Burbank Theater this year. The building has not shown films since 2000 and recently functioned as a dance studio. Closed since its foreclosure in 2019, the theater was acquired by Milpitas-based business executives in 2022. Multiple redevelopment proposals have since emerged, considering options for housing and medical offices.
