Bengals’ TE Fant Set to Return Against Lions After Concussion

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Noah Fant is set to return to the field against the Detroit Lions after being in concussion protocol. Coach Zac Taylor confirmed his availability during a press briefing on Friday.

Noah Fant’s Concussion Recovery

Fant suffered a concussion during Week 3 while facing the Minnesota Vikings. He did not return to that game, which ended in a decisive 48-10 loss for the Bengals. Consequently, he also missed the subsequent game against the Denver Broncos.

Fant’s Impact on the Team

Despite only participating in two games this season, Noah Fant has had a notable impact on the Bengals. He currently ranks second on the team with 12 receptions. Additionally, he has contributed to one of the five receiving touchdowns scored by Cincinnati this season.

Injury Updates for the Bengals

  • Charlie Jones: The wide receiver is listed as questionable due to an Achilles injury.
  • Shemar Stewart: The rookie defensive end will miss his third consecutive game because of an ankle injury.

As the Bengals prepare for their matchup against the Lions, the return of Fant is a promising development for the team’s offense.
