Asphalt Renewal Boosts Mobility in Cidade Nova’s North Zone
In a concerted effort to enhance urban mobility, the Manaus City Hall is actively engaged in road recovery projects across the city. These initiatives are spearheaded by the Municipal Infrastructure Secretariat (Seminf), focusing on the Cidade Nova neighborhood located in the North Zone of Manaus.
Asphalt Renewal in Cidade Nova’s North Zone
On April 6, maintenance crews worked on Rayol dos Santos Street in Nucleus 3. This intervention aims to revitalize the existing roadways while improving traffic conditions for both local residents and heavy vehicles navigating the area daily.
Objectives of the Project
- Eliminating potholes to enhance driving conditions
- Strengthening the local road network
- Facilitating easier commuting for residents and merchants
Community Impact
Efrain Aragão, the Deputy Secretary of Basic Services, emphasized that these road improvements extend beyond just infrastructure. “When the city lays down asphalt, it’s not just about the road—it’s about dignity, safety, and opportunity,” he remarked. He noted that a well-maintained street can improve accessibility, increase property values, and bolster local commerce.
Residents have reported immediate benefits from the revitalized roadway. The enhancements contribute to a safer and more efficient daily routine, significantly affecting the lives of those who rely on this route for work or education.
Ongoing Commitment to Urban Infrastructure
The Manaus City Hall is committed to implementing ongoing projects throughout all city zones. This dedication aims to elevate living standards and foster an environment of safety and dignity for the community. The local government continues to prioritize and respond to the needs of its constituents as directed by Mayor Renato Junior.
